Benefit for Palmer’s Sister City March 28th, 2011
Received this from Melissa Jenski of the Palmer Museum of History and Art. Sounds like something everyone in Palmer should attend.
On Sunday, April 3, 2011, from 2-6 pm, the City of Palmer and Palmer Museum will come together with your help to raise money in support of the Japan disaster relief efforts. Celebrate our sister city and the Japanese culture through art, music, food, and language during an afternoon of activities, exhibits and performances. Come support a great cause while having fun! For questions about the event please call the Palmer Museum at (907) 746-7668 .

We are looking for numerous volunteers to help out the day of the event with setup, clean up, and staffing at various locations. Please call the Museum at (907) 746-7668 if you are interested in donating your time or providing financial support.
All proceeds go directly to the people of Saroma, Japan as an official gift of goodwill.

Houses For Rent In Palmer and Wasilla November 24th, 2010
Way back in October 2007 I wrote about rentals in Palmer and Wasilla on my other blog, valleymarket.com. I think it’s time for an update. It is common for me to get calls asking if I handle rentals…I don’t.
Here are my tips for finding a rental in the area:
1. Check with the local property managers.
Here are three…
Charlene Moss, she handles the most rentals, 373-8161
Traci Brewington at Prudential, 376-2414
Dawn Houston at Double Eagle, 357-1770
2. Check craigslist, you will find almost all the owner rentals on craigslist.
If you need to buy or sell in Palmer and Wasilla, I can help you with that. Drop me a line by clicking on the contact button or give me a call at
Or, if you would rather do your own search on the MLS, just go my search page.
